If you are a Sooner Alumni, you will likely spend some time in the old McCasland Fieldhouse. Our task is to replace the old system of lighting with a new energy-efficient one. We replaced the existing 1000-watt Metal Halide Fixtures with LED equivalent light sources.
The 500-watt LED ESL Sports Light resulted in a 50% energy reduction, instant on/off operation, reduced wait time for facility usage, one-piece easy installation, an estimated life span of over 100,000 hours, and a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Boomer!
